If you already have a webpage and are in the process of reviewing it, here are some questions you should ask yourself. If you are about to begin a new one page website these questions should also prove to be useful throughout the process.

  • Is the webpage design uncluttered and simple to follow?
  • Is there a compelling message ‘above the fold’ (on screen without scrolling)?
  • Does your call to action highlight the benefits of doing business with you?
  • Is the content easy to skim read and understand?
  • Does the webpage look great on all devices (mobile, table, PC, Mac etc)?
  • Does the webpage convey trustworthiness? (clue: if the design is poor, it won’t)
  • Does your webpage design guide the visitors  eye through to the most important elements on your webpage?
  • Does your webpage communicate clearly the high value of what you offer?
  • Does the message of your traffic generating advertising (ie. PPC Campaign or classified ad etc) match the message of your webpage?
  • Does the visual design of your traffic generating advertising (ie. Flyer design or banner ad etc) match the design of your webpage?
  • Does the webpage design ‘feel’ right? (ie. Is it visually appealing)
  • Is the webpage design congruent with  your brand?
  • Does the message motivate your ideal clients/customers to respond to your call to action?
  • Is it quick and easy for your visitors to  respond impulsively to your offer?
